Am I alone or does suffering suck?
We all wonder, WHY.
Why must we suffer at times?
Why must we struggle at other times?
Why must we go through these trials and shed these tears?
What’s the purpose, I want to know WHY?
I don’t know about you, but I need to make sense of this.
If something doesn’t make sense, where is the hope? Where is the purpose? Why does it exist? What the hell is the point?
Maybe we need a different view and perspective to see more clearly.
Sometimes we need to angle the light a little differently so we can better understand a thing.
It’s like going into a dark room, but there’s only a small light in the furthest corner. Sadly, it doesn’t illuminate the entire room. Some parts are too dark for us to see clearly. What do you do? Pick the light up, then walk it over and shine it in the area you want to see more clearly. That’s all I’m attempting to do here.
I want to take the light that was given to me and shine it in that dark corner to help you see a little more clearly.
Although life isn’t a thing, but something we experience, maybe we should consider looking at life a little differently.
Even, consider a different perspective altogether.
Because deep down inside, we know there is more to this life than just existing.
If it wasn’t true, what is the purpose of living, to begin with, if all we were put here to do is to be born, live then die?
For me, that’s unacceptable!
No wonder why some people just give up, throw their towel into the ring and just exist.
I believe, the meaning and purpose can only be answered in the question of WHY.
If struggle and pain have no purpose and all we were meant to do is just endure.
What’s the point?
Here is my apology of why we need the resistance of negative experiences.
It’s like going to the gym ONLY to lift air and expecting a rocking body when you come out.
It’s NEVER going to happen!
HERE’S THE HARD TRUTH!
Without resistance, it’s impossible for you or me to grow.
The struggle is life’s resistance training.
The pain is the burn from lifting the weights of life.
When you choose to learn from your negative resistance training experiences YOU WILL GROW.
You come out of Life’s Gym a better version of yourself, a stronger, more beautiful person than before you went into Life’s Gym.
You’ve already been given your membership to the Life’s Gym at birth,
SO WHY NOT MAKE THE MOST OF IT!
Your perspective on life will make or break you.
We know this from our experiences.
Those who go through life with the right and proper perspective shine, glow and radiate with positive optimistic energy.
But those who resist, fight, kick and scream against their negative experiences by shutting down and refusing to learn from them, sadly become bitter pessimistic and resentful toward life and people.
They die inside and life for them dies all around them.
You know those miserable people who seem to be so in love with their misery that they can’t seem to ever stop talking about all the things that make and cause them to be so miserable.
The reality is we have a choice. No one makes us the way we are because we choose to be this way.
But you know what else is true?
You can choose to think differently and change your world today.
It’s YOUR CHOICE!
Which will it be?
