Free To Fly (Poem)

I use to think about you.
Like the wind,
you blew away.
Nothing left to see.

A breeze against my face.
Leaves scattered afar.
Trees swaying back and forth.
All this just the effects of the wind.

I can’t hold you, smell you
or even taste you on my lips.
You blew into my life
and out in one breath.

As the leave’s blow away,
never to be seen again
so are my thoughts of you
lost in the wind.
